Best Selling Natural Skin Care Moisturizer - 3 Amazing Ingredients Should be in Healthy Skin Care

by: Marcia Kruger

The Health Market Place When was the last time you took a look at what was in that best selling natural skin care moisturizer product? After all, you want your skin to feel soft and look young and glowing. So, it's a good idea to check your product's ingredients list.

Make sure the moisturizer, and other products, don't contain any harmful substances which are ineffective or cause ugly side effects.

Take a look at the label and see if there are any substances like: mineral oils (names like paraffin wax or petrolatum), parabens (also known by names like methyl, propyl and ethyl paraben), dioxanes and fragrances.

Why? If you find any of them in your skin care moisturizer cream product, avoid them. They're synthetic unnatural ingredients that aren't healthy or safe to be in skincare products. They cause anything from dry skin, depression, irritation...even cancer.

Just do a bit of research and become an educated consumer. Start looking at the ingredients used by skincare companies. Very few best selling natural skincare moisturizer products you'll find are 100% pure natural skincare products as they claim.

Don't give up, keep looking for a natural skin care moisturizer cream containing natural substances. There are some very good natural skincare companies out that have effective, healthy skin care products.

When I researched natural skincare companies, I found one that uses pure substances in their products. Their products are safe, effective and healthy for you and your skin.

Ready to find the best selling natural skin care moisturizer which contains amazing natural ingredients that are high quality and proven effective?

Here are some ingredients which are 100% natural:

1. Phytessence Wakame - is an effective natural healthy skin care ingredient. An extract from a Japanese sea kelp (from the Japanese sea), which is rich in sodium, iron, potassium, calcium, B-group vitamins, antioxidants and other essential minerals are our body needs.

It's not wonder it's a Japanese "beauty preserver", this Japanese sea kelp is prized for its ability to keep skin healthy and youthful looking. It increases skin elasticity and helps heal irritated and dry skin.

2. Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 -- is a special form of CoenzymeQ10 that penetrates deep into your skin. It supplies skin with powerful antioxidants which fight the harmful free radicals. It also protects the skin from the sun's UV rays and helps to rejuvenate skin cells to keep your skin toned.

3. Cynergy TK - this substance (extracted from the wool of the New Zealand sheep) contains functional keratin. The keratin protein is found throughout the body and has the ability to convert natural keratin into a functional form which increases your body's own production of collagen and elastin. This results in smoothing your fine lines and rejuvenating your skin.

Natural Health Remedies - Debugging the Myths

by: Yvonne Garcia

The modern world is endlessly being turned by newly discovered treatments and medicines and sometimes seems to have forgotten the natural health remedies. The world of medication is being dominated by large pharmaceutical and research companies which have literally obliterated the other types of medicinal treatments over last few centuries. However, natural health remedies are currently experiencing a resurgence as the world takes a look back at its roots.

Natural remedies are often referred to as "alternative" medicine, alternative to the modern Western mode of medications that is. However, if we go a few hundred years back, these remedies are actually the mainstream remedies. Of course, one cannot argue that modern ways of treating ailments are effective, thus, the total disappearance of natural health medications and remedies seem inevitable. But it is also a fact that there are natural remedies that really works, and more and more people are starting to realize that.

There are many reasons why people are going back into using natural health remedies. The natural ways of treating certain ailments can come as a first aid treatment, whenever modern medicines are not available. First of all, natural health remedies are becoming more popular because of the expensive cost of Western medicines. The oligopolies that consist of the big pharmaceutical companies have jacked up the prices of medicines, leaving many people to resort to other alternatives. Secondly, more and more people are becoming aware and wary of the side effects of some medicines. Bodies react differently to medicines.

Some people just don't believe in the power of natural remedies, thinking that these are lame attempts to address a certain ailment. That's unfortunate because the empirical evidence shows that natural remedies and natural medicine works.

Debugging the Myth about Natural Health Products

The concept of health promotion has evolved because of the changing definition of health and an awareness that wellness exists at many levels of functioning. The definition of health as the mere absence of disease is no longer accepted.

Today, health is viewed as a dynamic, ever-changing condition that enables a person to function at an optimum potential at any given time.

The ideal health status is one in which people are successful in achieving their full potential regardless of any limitations they might have.

Wellness, as a reflection of health, involves a conscious and deliberate attempt to maximize one's health. Wellness does not just happen; it requires planning and conscious commitment and is the result of adopting lifestyle behaviors for attaining one's highest potential for well-being.

Wellness is not the same for every person. The person with chronic illness or disability may still be able to achieve a desirable level of wellness. The key to wellness is to function at the highest potential within the limitations over which there is no control and to obtain the most natural health products that will help supplement the much-needed boost in an individual's total well being.

A significant amount of information has shown that people, by virtue of what they eat or drink, influence their own health. Today, many of the major causes of illnesses are chronic diseases closely related to the kind of food that they eat.

Hence, health experts highly recommend the intake of natural health product to ensure optimum health promotion.

Since the 1950's, many health promotion models have been constructed to identify health-protecting behaviors and to help explain why people need to consume natural health products everyday.

Natural health products are among the highly recommended products by the health experts in promoting wellness without the harmful side effects.

According to the Natural Health Products Regulations, the items classified as natural health products include homeopathic medicines, minerals, vitamins, probiotics, herbal medicines, different kinds of products such as essential fatty acids, and traditional medicines.

In essence, natural health products are considered safe and effective. The government does not require prescriptions because they are not prescription drugs.

Considered as OTCs or over-the-counter medications, natural health products can be administered alone and the option to consume the products can be a matter of personal choice.

Your New Puppy - why using natural remedies and products is a great idea

by: Susan Koranki

There is a growing interest in taking a natural or holistic approach to healthcare, both for people and animals. Many pet owners are now actively seeking out natural remedies and products for both preventative care, and the treatment of certain conditions.

Natural supplements and remedies are often a safe, and affordable addition to your puppy care routine, and don't have the potential side-effects of some conventional medications. Obviously, there needs to be a balance between conventional veterinary care and the use of natural remedies, but when you are able to take the best of both worlds, and use them in a complementary way, you can be sure your puppy is reaping the benefits.

The benefits of natural pet care for your puppy include :

Better Overall Health - many common dog ailments, such as digestive disorders and allergies, can be prevented or significantly reduced.

Longer Lifespan - due to better health and a stronger immune system

Improved Healing - your pup will heal faster after sickness or injury due to a stronger, healthier body.

Better Quality of Life - a natural approach to pet health care includes treating all the factors (environmental, behavioral, nutritional etc) that lead to ill health. By treating the causes and not just the symptoms, your pup will be happier as well as healthier.

Natural Dog Food

Your new puppy is growing at a phenomenal rate, and the nutrition he receives during this critical growth period has a huge impact on his future health and well-being. Good nutrition is the cornerstone of good health.

Natural dog foods (including holistic/organic options) can provide optimum nutrition for your growing puppy. The benefits include human-grade ingredients, and the absence of hormones, chemicals, additives and other undesirables.

Feeding a natural diet (and that could include a raw diet, or BARF), helps to strengthen your puppys' immune system, reduce the incidence of allergies, and research has shown that it can also help your pup live a longer life.

Some of the most popular names in natural dog food include Innova, Solid Gold and Canidae. Online stores often have a wide selection of natural and organic dog food that you can order from the comfort of your own home.

Natural Remedies for Dogs

Although professional veterinary care is absolutely essential to the health of your new puppy, there are often situations where a natural supplement or remedy can be very effective. This is especially true in the area of natural preventative care.

Many puppies have digestive issues, and constipation, flatulence and loose stools are common puppy problems. Feeding a natural puppy food is an important part of preventing these sorts of issues, and there's a good selection of food supplements you can use to prevent/treat specific problems.

Natural laxatives, pro-biotics, digestive tonics and other products can be very helpful for a puppy who has tummy troubles. By helping to restore a healthy balance to your pups' digestive system, the effects of things such as stress, pollution and toxins can be reduced/eliminated.

Another common puppy problem, and one that seems to be increasing, is allergies. Many dogs suffer from allergies of one sort or another, some are sensitive or allergic to ingredients in their food, others to environmental or seasonal triggers or parasites such as fleas. Whether exposure to toxins in the environment, chemicals in food, or immune systems weakened by over-vaccination or medication, the results are the same.

Medications such as anti-histamines can supress allergy symptoms, but natural remedies actually target the imbalances/weaknesses at the root of the problem. Holistic blends of natural vitamins, herbs, and other ingredients can help keep your pups' immune system functioning at optimum level. Soothing herbal salves and ointments can help relieve constant scratching, and food supplements can help keep your dogs' coat and skin healthy and supple.

Anxiety, fear and general nervousness are also fairly common puppy behavioral issues. From separation anxiety, to submissive urination and situational stressors such as thunderstorms or car travel, at some time or other your puppy may need something that will help reduce his anxiety levels.

Sedative medications have a place in the treatment of anxiety disorders, but many times a natural remedy is both gentle and effective in reducing fear, stress and anxiety - without the side effects of some medications.

There's a whole range of products to choose from in this category - Flower Remedy essences, pheremone-based sprays and diffusers, dietary supplements and more.

There's no reason for your little guy to be cowering in the corner during thunderstorms, or shaking like a leaf on your road trips, when gentle, calming relief is so easy to find.

All dog owners know that there are some pesky critters who can cause your pup to be miserable - they're called fleas! Fleas aren't just annoying, they can cause disease, allergies and a whole lot of trouble. There are some very effective flea preventatives, but they do contain harsh chemicals, and often can't be used on young puppies. Natural remedies provide a kinder alternative, and can be very effective when used correctly. There are products that you can dust/spray on your pet, and others that can be ingested. Intestinal parasites such as roundworms, tapeworms etc. can be treated using homeopathic or herbal products.

Both puppies and older dogs can experience muscle or joint problems, especially the large/giant breeds. A natural diet, and the use of a natural supplement which promotes joint/muscle health can improve strength and flexibility and prevent a lot of problems.

All new owners want the very best for their puppies, and prevention is definitely better than cure. By using a combination of natural remedies and health care options, in addition to the routine veterinary care that your puppy needs, you will be giving him the very best chance of a long, happy and health life. Isn't that good to know?

Do You Believe In The Herbal Hype?

by: Jon Caldwell

In China, herbal method has been treated for along time. Nowadays, it's not strange if American use that treatment. There is a fast-growing interest among people today regarding alternative medicines and therapies. This interest includes the herbal remedies and dietary supplements market. In fact, it's a safe bet that many large supermarkets in your local area feature an aisle or two specifically for natural medicines alone. A quick browse through the World Wide Web about health problems and topics will reveal advertisements and articles about natural health products that claim to help consumers with everything from migraines to sexual deficiencies.

When they are used properly in combination with a patient's overall health regimen, these natural health products can be effective and safe. More and more people are observed to be taking an active part in taking care of their health, and this is a good thing. What makes it a problem, though, is the lack of information that patients sometimes have, especially when it comes to self-presciption medicines. With that in mind, it is valuable to know the following rules-of-thumb regarding botanicals and herbal remedies:

Don't immediately think that taking a natural medicine is safe for you. Alternative medicines from plants or herbs can also be dangerous when taken improperly. These natural medicines are usually needed to be taken in strong dosages, or at least strong enough to be effective. It's good to remember that they also have contra-indications, just like other medicines. Usually these contra-indications happen when abnormally large dosages are taken, or if the herb is taken over a prolonged amount of time.

Goji Berries are getting much acclaim lately for being health food products, usually marketed as either Himalayan goji or Tibetan goji. One source indicates that Goji Berries have been a mainstay of Traditional Chinese Medicine for around 1,900 years already. According to Chinese legend, Goji Berries were also used by Shen Nung who is believed to have been the First Emperor of China. Goji Berries are now considered a health food because research has shown that it has antioxidants and nutrients aplenty, which may explain why Goji Berries are also now classified as one of the superfruits. Demand for superfruits like Goji Berries is expected to reach the billion-dollar mark by year 2011.

The Goji Berries you may be familiar with are usually of an ellipsoidal shape and bright red, with each of the Goji Berries filled with up to sixty seeds. Goji Berries that are planted in countries in the Northern Hemisphere may ripen in the months of July, August, September and October.

Nowadays, Goji Berries are planted in commercial quantities in north central China (in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) and in western China (in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.) The size of a typical plantation of Goji Berries can start at 100 acres and extend to up to 1000 acres in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Ningxia has been found to produce some of the top Goji Berries variety which are sometimes called the red diamonds commercial variety.
